A short crime spree ended with one man in hot water twice on the weekend.
At about 6 a.m. Saturday, Kamloops Mounties received a report of a man rummaging through a shed and throwing its contents around at an address on Hudson Bay Trail in Kamloops’ West End.

Shortly after that, a security guard at a construction site along Victoria Street downtown chased off a man who had smashed a window and left behind a blanket believed to have been stolen from the West End property.
An hour after that, in the same area downtown, a homeowner reported waking up to find an intoxicated man in their hot tub.
Police attended, arrested a man and lodged him in cells to prevent continuation of the offence. When sober he was released from police custody on an promise to appear in court.
Const. Crystal Evelyn said the blanket and suspect description likely helped connect the suspect to the three incidents.
