Witnesses on scene gave police a description of a female driver who fled the scene.

“At this time, the driver of the vehicle has not been identified,” Cpl. Jodi Shelkie said. “We do have the registered owner’s information and will be following up with them today for more information.”

The cause of the collision is still under investigation.

Shelkie told KTW a description of the suspect is not being released at this time as police still need to speak to the registered owner of the vehicle. RCMP intend to release a description if the driver’s identity remains unclear after that.
