Interior Health is warning of a possible exposure at Hotel Zed in Kelowna.
The health authority says several individuals who attended a party at Hotel Zed on Sept. 7 may have been exposed to COVID-19.
"A number of people gathered in a common area and/or balcony of the hotel at 1627 Abbott St., Kelowna, and may have been exposed to COVID-19," reads an advisory released by Interior Health Friday afternoon.
The party took place between midnight at 3:30 a.m.
Anyone who attended is being asked to closely monitor themselves for symptoms and get tested if any arise.
Contact tracers are working on the incident and are reaching out to those who may have been exposed wherever possible.
In response, a representative from Hotel Zed said the matter is being taken seriously and the party in question was broken up by hotel staff, who sanitized the area and evicted the guests in question due to not following social distancing protocols.
