Is this the spitting image of a saliva assault suspect?

Police say a man spat at an employee in North Kamloops after the employee asked the man’s friend to stop skateboarding on the property.

The Kamloops RCMP is asking for the public’s help identifying a suspect from a spitting incident — which can be an assault — earlier this week. 

On Monday, March 1, at 4:35 p.m., police responded to a store in the 700-block of Tranquille Road in North Kamloops for a report of an employee having been spat at after he asked a man to stop skateboarding inside.

Const. Crystal Evelyn said the skateboarder’s friend allegedly pulled down his mask and spat at the employee.

The suspect is white, has dark hair and facial hair and was wearing dark clothing.

Anybody with information on the incident is asked to call Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000 and reference file 2021-6405.
