Shuswap MLA Greg Kylo, who is the party’s deputy whip, will take over the environment critic role.

Milobar’s shuffle was one of 16 changes made by leader Andrew Wilkinson as murmurs persist about a possible fall election.

Kamloops’ other MLA — Todd Stone in Kamloops-South Thompson retains his role as critic for municipal affairs and housing, a ministry presided over by Minister Selina Robinson.

"We will continue to ask the government to make decisions that get relief to businesses and promote safe, healthy and fair working conditions,” Millobar said in a statement, referencing the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. “I’ll continue to advocate every day for the people here in Kamloops-North Thompson, on top of holding this government to account for their lack of action on providing businesses with the resources they need to help workers."
