Kamloops Mounties looking for witnesses to May 15 vehicle crash and assault

On May 15, at about 5:30 a.m., Kamloops RCMP received a report of a single motor-vehicle collision at Tranquille and Ord roads in Brocklehurst involving a brown Toyota RAV4.

 

An investigation into a recent vehicle crash and assault on Tranquille Road has police looking for potential witnesses.

On May 15, at about 5:30 a.m., Kamloops RCMP received a report of a single motor-vehicle collision at Tranquille and Ord roads in Brocklehurst involving a brown Toyota RAV4.

Kamloops RCMP Const. Crystal Evelyn said the same vehicle was allegedly near Tranquille Farm and Tranquille Road at Criss Creek Road between 4:30 a.m. and 5 a.m. the same day, at which time its occupants were reported to have been involved in an altercation.

“Police have reason to believe at least two other vehicles may have witnessed the Toyota at these locations and during the alleged assault — a car that honked and a small white car,” Evelyn said.

Anyone who witnessed an assault or the vehicle crash on May 15 are asked to call

Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000 and reference file number 2021-15837.
