A witness called police to report hearing a large smashing noise, then saw a white GMC pickup leaving, with an ATM in the back. Michels said the front doors of the business had been smashed. Patrols of the area failed to find the truck, which police believe was used by the thieves to pull the ATM from the store.

The thieves concealed their identities from surveillance cameras by wearing hoodies and masks.

The truck is described as a white, newer-model GMC pickup with a yellow tow strap in the rear box. One suspect was dressed in all grey, while the other in all black.

Anyone with any information regarding the theft or the identity of the suspects is asked to call Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
