Kamloops Mounties seek help in finding teenaged girl

Police say Brooklyn Dubois was last seen downtown, in the 500-block of Columbia Street, at 5 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 3

UPDATE: Kamloops RCMP reported at 8:44 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 5, that Brooklyn Dubois has been found and is safe.

Kamloops Mounties are asking for the public’s help in finding a 16-year-old girl.

Police say Brooklyn Dubois was last seen downtown, in the 500-block of Columbia Street, at 5 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 3.

Brooklyn is First Nations, stands 5-foot-2 and weights 110 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing a grey winter jacket, black low-top Converse shoes and grey sweat pants.

Anybody with information on Brooklyn’s whereabouts is asked to call Kamloops RCMP at 250-818-3000 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
