Kamloops Polar Bear Swim 2019

The annual Polar Bear Swim in Kamloops attracted a large crowd of New Year’s Day revellers who braved chilly temperatures as they stripped down to bathing suits to welcome 2019 with a dip in the South Thompson River.

The event in Riverside Park also served as a promotion for the Kamloops Food Bank, with attendees bringing non-perishable food items and cash donations for the agency.
