A Kamloops man charged with sexual assault in Calgary was arrested in the Tournament Capital on Wednesday (April 21) and will be returned to Alberta.
Const. Crystal Evelyn said an officer was able to track down and arrest the man, whose warrants were extended to Western Canada with help from the Fugitive Return Program. The warrants were related to failing to comply with a release order attached to a sexual assault charge.
Rudy Gros Ventreboy, 43, is in custody, awaiting transport back to Alberta to answer to his charges.
