The BC Lottery Corporation headquarters in Kamloops is ready to greet the latest big lottery winner.
In the July 31 Lotto 6/49 draw, there was one winner of the Extra’s $500,000 top prize — and that ticket was purchased at a retailer in Kamloops.
The Extra numbers in the July 31 Lotto 6/49 draw were 1,17, 74 and 79.
Matching all four numbers is worth $500,000. Matching three of the four numbers carries with it a $1,000 prize. Matching two of the four numbers is good for $10, while matching one of the four numbers is worth a dollar.
In the July 31 Lotto 6/49 Extra draw, the one ticket in Kamloops matched all four numbers, while 45 tickets (purchased anywhere across Canada) matched three numbers. There were 2,471 tickets nationwide that matched two of the four numbers and 51,772 tickets across the country that matched one of the four numbers.
