Police report 17 thefts from vehicles, two bike thefts over past week

From Oct. 12 to Oct. 18, Kamloops RCMP say there were 17 thefts from vehicles and two thefts of bicycles in Kamloops.

“The Kamloops RCMP continue to receive calls to investigate theft from vehicles and bike thefts, in every neighbourhood of the community,” Cpl. Jodi Shelkie said in a press release. “Measures to prevent these thefts include locking and taking all valuables out of vehicles and properly locking up bicycles.”
