Power outages leave thousands in Kamloops without electricity

While Kamloops is receiving heavy winds as of 10 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 5, BC Hydro has not yet determined whether that has contributed to the situation.

About 4,000 customers are without electricity on Thursday morning (Nov. 5) due to power outages in Valleyview, Juniper Ridge and Barnhartvale.

BC Hydro crews have been assigned to investigate the cause of the outages.

While Kamloops is receiving heavy winds as of 10 a.m. on Thursday, BC Hydro has not yet determined whether that has contributed to the situation.

There is no estimate on when power might be restored.
