B.C. health officials are reporting 519 new cases of COVID-19 and 12 additional deaths due to the disease.
Of the 12 deaths reported Wednesday, four occurred in the Interior Health region at long-term care homes in Oliver and Vernon.
Interior Health also accounts for 84 of the new cases and now has 905 active cases.
In hospital, there are 360 patients in B.C. hospitals with 76 of those in critical care. Of those, 33 are in Interior Health, with 9 patients in critical care.
Of the province's total 59,072 cases since the pandemic began, 51,893 have recovered and a 1,013 have died.
Interior Health declared one new outbreak on Wednesday, at the Cariboo Memorial Hospital in Williams Lake.
The health authority says four staff members have tested positive but there is no evidence patients have been exposed at this time.
