B.C. health officials are reporting 446 new cases of COVID-19 and nine further deaths due to the disease over the past 24 hours.
Of the new cases, 67 are in the Interior Health region, on par with the number of new cases in recent days.
The number of active cases in the province now stands at 5,045, down from yesterday's report of 5,220.
In hospital, there are 368 patients across B.C., including 72 in critical care.
Another 7,238 people are under active public health monitoring due to exposure to confirmed cases.
Elsewhere in the province, 96 cases were reported in the Vancouver Coastal Health region, 223 in Fraser Health, 14 in Vancouver Island Health and 46 in Northern Health.
Of the province's 58,553 total cases, 51,144 have recovered and 1,019 have died.
On the vaccine front, 62,294 doses of either the Pfizer of Moderna vaccine have been administered.
