The province has reported another 508 new cases of COVID-19, as well as nine further deaths due to the disease.
Of those new cases, 79 are in the Interior Health region, down some from recent days.

The province now has 4,479 active cases, about a quarter of which are in the Interior Health region, according to Thursday's active case count for the region.
Hospitalization numbers have fallen some, down to 315 patients across B.C. Of those, 74 are in critical care.
Elsewhere in the province, there were 132 new cases in Vancouver Coastal Health, 228 new in Fraser Health, 13 in Vancouver Island Health, 55 in Northern Health and one new case in someone who normally lives outside Canada.
Of B.C.'s 63,484 total cases to date, 56,455 have recovered while 1,128 have died.
Another 6,719 people are under active public health monitoring due to exposure to confirmed cases.
On Friday, B.C. revealed its vaccination strategy, with plans to immunize up to 4.3 million people in the province across four phases, spanning from December 2020 to September 2021.
As of Friday, 110,566 doses have been administered, 2,202 of which are the second of the two required doses.
