Adalee Romeo was the first baby born in Kamloops in 2021, with the eight-pound, one-ounce beautiful bundle of joy greeting parents Christa and Mason Romeo at Royal Inland Hospital at 1:47 a.m. on Jan. 1. Adalee has two older brothers, Dawson, 3 and Gray, 2.
The first baby born in the Interior Health regionthis year took place at Kelowna General Hospital at 1:22 a.m. The baby girl, weighing in at eight pounds, 10 ounces, has not yet been named as parents Ashley and Tyler Robinson mull monickers. The new baby has an older sister, two-year-old Emma.

The province’s first baby of 2021 was born at 12:21 a.m. at Women’s Hospital in Vancouver. The baby, whose name had not yet been revealed, weighed seven pounds, four ounces.
