Search and rescue teams have joined in the search for Richard Jules.
Jules, 48, is Aboriginal, stands 5-foot-5 and weighs 95 pounds. He has short, straight, brown hair and is possibly wearing a red and white winter jacket and work boots. He may also be sporting a moustache.
Jules, who lives alone on the Tk’emlups te Secwepemc reserve, was last seen on Saturday, Nov. 23.
Kamloops Search and Rescue president Alan Hobler said his team and search and rescue operations from the surrounding region are on the reserve, searching for Jules.
Hobler said drones and tracking dogs are being employed, noting search teams are focusing on the wilderness area of the reserve, while members of the Tk’emlups community continue to search for Jules in the urban areas.
“There isn’t a lot of information on him,” Hobler said. “He lives alone and we are not sure what he was doing at the time he was last seen.”
Anybody with information on Jules’ whereabouts is asked to call the Tk’emlups Rural RCMP at 250-314-1800 or the Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000.
