Snowbirds set to streak across Kamloops sky on May 16

The legendary red and white team is expected to soar above the Tournament Capital at about 1:30 p.m.

The famous Canadian Forces Snowbirds are expected to fly above Kamloops on Saturday afternoon as the squadron continues its aerial tour of Canada.

Operation Inspiration began on May 3 in Nova Scotia and has the nine-jet squadron flying west over communities, with the signature white smoke trailing the aircraft.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said the tour is a means to "salute Canadians doing their part to stop the spread of COVID-19.”

The legendary red and white team is expected to soar above the Tournament Capital at about 1:30 p.m.
