Tech is heating up in Kamloops

New research published by Venture Kamloops economic development manager Nicole Bruce and Thompson Rivers University Dr. Laura Lamb highlight Kamloops’ burgeoning status as a tech-hub destination of choice in the province, with BCLC helping to fuel the talent needed to support its growth.

“In partnership with the Kamoops Innovation Centre, the BCLC Innovation Lab enables us to leverage the incredible energy and talent of students to solve our business challenges, while also giving them the legitimate experience they need to succeed in the rapidly evolving tech sector,” said Pat Davis, BCLC chief information officer.

“We gain new perspectives and the students understand how to apply technology on real customer and business opportunities — it’s a win-win.”
