There have been 19 new cases of COVID-19 in B.C. over the past 24 hours according to province health officials.
B.C. has also gone another day without additional deaths due to COVID-19. To date, 168 have died of the disease in the province.
In all, there have been 2,775 cases in B.C. Among health authorities, there have been 946 in the Vancouver Coastal Health region, 1,438 in Fraser Health, 130 in Vancouver Island Health, 196 in Interior Health and 65 in Northern Health.
The total number of cases for Interior Health stands at 196, but the increase is due to a correction rather than an additional case, according to a spokesperson from the province.
There are currently four ongoing community outbreaks and six health-care facility outbreaks, including two new incidents announced on Wednesday at the Mission Memorial Hospital and Tabor Home in Abbotsford.
The number of people in hospital continues to decline, with 11 hospitalized across the province and five of those in critical care.
A total of 2,422 have now recovered from COVID-19 in B.C., leaving 185 active cases.
