B.C. health officials have announced an additional 62 cases of COVID-19, identified over the past 24 hours.
The further increase in cases includes four new cases in the Interior Health region.
Wednesday's update did not include any new community or health-care facility outbreaks, nor were any new deaths announced.
The province now has 896 active cases, with 4,199 people fully recovered and 203 deaths, for a total of 5,304 cases since the pandemic began.
There are 21 people now in hospital, with seven of those in critical care.
Interior Health says there are 20 active cases in the region, with none of those in hospital.
Across the province, 2,730 people are under active public health monitoring due to potential exposure.
By health authority, there have been 1,699 cases in Vancouver Coastal Health, 2,795 in Fraser Health, 170 in Vancouver Island Health, 429 in Interior Health, 133 in Northern Health and 78 cases among those who reside outside Canada.
