Three schools in Kamloops remain on Interior Health's list of COVID-19 exposures.
Sa-Hali secondary, Beattie elementary and Brocklehurst Middle School have all seen recent COVID-19 exposures.
Sa-Hali seconday had potential exposures across six days, from May 12 to May 14 and from May 17 to May 19.
Beattie elementary saw one day of potential exposure on May 17, while Brocklehurst Middle School saw four days of exposures, May 13, May 14, May 17 and May 18.
In each instance, Interior Health will conduct contact tracing and will determine if anyone was in contact with those who tested positive for COVID-19 while they were infectious.
The health authority will also determine if anyone in the school community is a close contact who is required to self-isolate.
Those contacted by Interior Health are asked to follow advice given. If you are not contacted by the health authority, it has been determined that your child is not at risk of developing COVID-19.
Relative to Kamloops, the Central Okanagan has been hit hard by COVID-19, and its school exposures reflect the higher case count there. As of Thursday, SD23 has nine active school exposures.
