Tips to Kamloops Crime Stoppers lead to charges

In 2017, tips to Kamloops and District Crime Stoppers led to 14 arrests and 34 charges laid.

Since its inception in 1984, tips to the local Crime Stoppers program have led to 1,519 arrests, 490 charges laid, 240 weapons recovered and more than $60 million worth of drugs seized.

Those with information on an unsolved crime or who wish to anonymously report suspicious activity can call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

Online tips can be made at Lines are open 24 hours a day. Cash awards will be paid anonymously.
