Mounties responded to the scene at about 9:30 p.m. and both men were located a short time later.

The 23-year-old driver of the truck displayed symptoms of being impaired and was issued a 90 day roadside prohibition, a 30 day impound of his vehicle and was charged under the Motor Vehicle Act for failing to remain at the scene of an accident and for not having a driver’s license.

There was substantial damage to both the house and the vehicle, but none of the three people who were in the house at the time of the crash sustained any injuries.
