Two arrested in stolen truck thanks to eagle-eye resident

On Dec. 6, police received a call from a person who said they were following a stolen pickup truck north along Criss Creek Road, northwest of the city

Two people are in custody after Kamloops Mounties received a tip from someone tailing the stolen vehicle they were driving on Friday morning (Dec. 6).

Just after 11 a.m., police received a call from a person who said they were following a stolen pickup truck north along Criss Creek Road, northwest of the city.

Police confirmed the vehicle had been reported stolen from Kamloops on the night of Dec. 4 and caught up to the vehicle about 13 kilometres up Criss Creek Road, where two suspects were arrested.

A man and woman, both 32 years old, are now in police custody, with charges pending.
