Two Kamloops teens killed in crash north of Prince George

The BC Coroners Service said two teenagers from Kamloops were killed in a crash north of Prince George on the weekend.

The teens — a boy and girl — were in a vehicle that collided head-on with an oncoming transport truck near McLeod Lake on the afternoon of Sunday, June 30.

A third person in the vehicle was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries.

The driver of the truck was not injured and the cause of the crash is under investigation.

McLeod Lake is about 90 minutes north of Prince George on Highway 97.
