Two sites given green light for development

The City of Kamloops has issued development permits for commercial units at 1208 Tranquille Rd., including a drivethru coffee shop.

The location was formerly home to a gas station and is currently vacant.

In addition, a development permit was issued for a convenience store, pizza restaurant, car wash and fuel bar at 3435 Westsyde Rd., the northwest corner of the Westsyde Shopping Centre.

Additionally, work is underway at York Avenue and Eight Street in North Kamloops on a new Tim Hortons, which received approval from city council in April.
