Expect delays next week on the Trans-Canada Highway, as work gets underway to replace traffic controllers at three intersections in Valleyview. The new controllers are being installed on Highway 1 at Vicars Road on Monday, Jan. 11; at Tanager Drive on Tuesday, Jan. 12, and at River Road on Wednesday, Jan. 13.
The work will occur during daytime working hours, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will see timing of lights improved for traffic flow.

The work is a partnership between the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure, the City of Kamloops and CP Rail and is also expected to increase rail crossing safety.
