One change that would make a big difference in the doctor shortage would be to allow physicians to write prescriptions for longer than three months.

It’s ridiculous that everyone needs to make an appointment with their doctor every three months, particularly for medications that have been prescribed for years.

What percentage of a doctor’s daily appointment schedule relates to prescription refill requests?
