Editor:

I walked into Royal Inland Hospital’s ER with abdominal pain at 1 p.m. on Jan. 8. I walked out nine hours later, minus an appendix.

The staff were awesome, from admitting to discharge.

Special kudos to the nurses working the streaming floor. I saw two nurses work through break periods to care for their patients.

They did their best to keep everyone as comfortable as possible

I don’t know if there was normal staffing on the streaming floor that day, but I pretty sure they could have used more hands on deck.

In any event, they are total rocks stars in my book.
