Letter: Alas, greed will continue after TNRD spending exposé

Thank you, Jessica Wallace and KTW, for the informative stories on the TNRD spending spree.

article continues below

If not for the persistence of the reporters, it may have continued. A lot of investigating work went into the articles.

I think it is a real shame that projects are delayed or set aside because of the greed of the TNRD’s self-indulgence in rewarding themselves. Are our taxes increased to feed this greed of power spending on themselves?

No one seems to be held accountable to taxpayers anymore, for either bad behaviour, overspending or self-indulgence, so it will continue.

And it seems the people in power continue to reward these delinquent actions, all at the taxpayers’ expense.

I do not think it is just the TNRD, but it is the organization that got caught raiding the cookie jar. More accountability is needed for all levels of government.
