Letter: Dress/slip is not acceptable clothing for school

Editor:

Re: KTW’s article of Feb. 24 regarding a NorKam student being sent out of class due to the outfit she was wearing (‘Is this outfit inappropriate for a Kamloops classroom?’)

article continues below

The dress is a slip and it is not acceptable clothing to wear to school.

It is a slinky silk material with lace around the top of the slip. Spaghetti straps should not be worn to school with or without a turtleneck top, which is white and shows off the lace.

I believe the student wore the outfit to garner attention.
