Letter: Fines are not enough for this pair


Canadians do not tolerate cheaters, especially well-to-do ones.

It was not enough to issue $1,150 fines to former Great Canadian Casino CEO Rod Baker and his wife, actress Ekaterina Baker, for allegedly flying to the Yukon and impersonating residents to get their COVID-19 vaccines.

The notoriety they are receiving helps, but it is still not enough.

I hope our aggrieved citizens follow them to their new communities or employment, using letters to editor or to other appropriate parties, perhaps employers.

We do not tolerate cheaters, especially well-to-do ones.

We wait our turns.
