Letter: Kamloops Write-a-Thon was a bestseller unto itself


Kudos to the Kamloops Society for the Written Arts for its amazing writer’s workshop and 12-hour Write-a-Thon last weekend.

There was a literary-themed gift bag for each registrant, hourly prize draws, and all-day refreshment table, a pasta supper, a board game room; ample table space (even some with typewriters), hourly speakers; feedback consultation and attentive volunteers.

I could add volumes of praise but KTW reporter Todd Sullivan — who spoke on the craft of writing letters to the editor — said they should be short!
