Editor:
I was appalled on Nov. 7 as I watched Royal Inland Hospital staff trying to navigate their way to work from their parking spots on Columbia Street, many blocks from the hospital.
The snow was deep, the wind was fierce and sidewalks had not yet been plowed by the city.
As a nurse who spent 35 years working at RIH, I can’t believe staff are still expected to get to work despite the weather with no parking available onsite.
I hear talk of caring for our caregivers. Really?
Shame on you, RIH administration and shame on you, Kamloops.
