Letter: Of fools and their fireworks

Editor:

Having enjoyed a nice Christmas Day, it ended with a couple of idiots on Briarwood Avenue who thought it appropriate to set off fireworks in a wheelbarrow in front of their house at about 9 p.m.

The gunfire-like sound had dogs in the neighbourhood barking, scared our own pet, set off a car alarm, woke babies and made young children cry.

It would have been a far better use of their money to donate to charity than buying fireworks

All they did was show that they have an incredible lack of judgment and common sense.
