Having just spent some time in Royal Inland Hospital, I would like to send a heartfelt thank you to the surgical team — which I think Kamloops is fortunate to have — doctors Kanji and Thomas, the nurses on 6 South and all the frontline workers.
With visitor restrictions due to the pandemic, I think it would be beneficial if each patient were allowed one visitor every second day, with visits of 30 to 60 minutes.
I think it would aid in the physical healing, as well as the mental health of those involved.
