Letter: Truth of problems remains after referendum defeat

Defeat does not change the truth or facts.

The fundamental concerns of the first past the post voting system are low voter turnout, wastes votes (votes that do not go to elect someone) and distorted results (outcomes that do not reflect the popular vote).
