These are unethical actions in politics

I read Kamloops This Week editor Christopher Foulds' column of June 3 ('The seedy side of political donations') with a skeptical eye.

The practice of buying political favour needs to go, but the MLA for my riding, Todd Stone, really should have had a bit more training before he ran for office.

It was not the optics that were the issue, but the fact it is corrupt.

It is like someone saying it would have been OK if he had not been caught doing something that, if not illegal, is at least unethical.

This will come back to bite Stone next May and adds to his long list of dubious actions, like ministry staff deleting emails, that make him unfit for office.
