Left-handed pitcher and Czech Republic import Adam Macko will start for Vauxhall Academy of Alberta against righty Theo Millas and the Langley Blaze in Thursday’s marquee game, which will begin at 7:30 p.m. at Norbrock Stadium

Millas, who will graduate from high school in 2020, has already committed to Louisiana State University. The junior national team member from Aldergrove stands 6-foot-4, weighs 200 pounds and throws a fastball that eclipses 90 miles-per-hour.

Macko, who lives in Stony Plain, Alta., is committed to Purdue and is also on the MLB draft radar.

The North Delta Blue Jays, North Shore Twins, Edmonton Prospects, Coquitlam Reds, BLE Scout Team (comprised of prospects whose squads did not qualify for the tourney), Fraser Valley Cardinals, Victoria Eagles and Okotoks Dawgs will join Langley and Vauxhall at the tournament.
