Brown, B.C. suffer defeat to Quebec at Scotties Tournament of Hearts

B.C. will look for its first victory on Sunday, but will be in tough against Jennifer Jones and Manitoba

Skip Corryn Brown and her Team B.C. rink dropped their first game at the Scotties Tournament of Hearts on Saturday in Calgary.

Quebec (1-1) earned a 9-5 victory over B.C. (0-1), with skip Laurie St-Georges curling at 78 per cent. Brown curled at 63 per cent.

B.C. will look for its first victory on Sunday, but will be in tough against Jennifer Jones and Manitoba (1-1). The Draw 6 matchup will begin at 12:30 p.m.
