Canoe and Kayak club athletes awarded

Five Kamloops paddlers have been recognized by Canoe Kayak B.C. for excellence in the 2015 season. The ceremony, which honoured 50 individual athletes, included athletes receiving certificates and scholarships.

Five Kamloops paddlers have been recognized by Canoe Kayak B.C. for excellence in the 2015 season.

The ceremony, which honoured 50 individual athletes, included athletes receiving certificates and scholarships.

Vladimir Demishkevich was honoured with the Under-12 Male Development Award, the first of four athletes from the Kamloops Canoe and Kayak Club to be recognized. Jakob Brochu won the U14 Male Development Award, while Spencer Robinson and Aiden Tabata both received U15 Male Development awards.

Meanwhile, Bill Rublee was one of eight individuals to receive Officials' Recognition.
