Jim Cotter and Team B.C. suffered their fourth loss on Wednesday at the Tim Hortons Brier in Calgary, a defeat that likely puts them out of Championship Pool contention.
Wild Card No. 3, with Wayne Middaugh throwing fourth, scored two with his last rock in the 10th end to edge B.C. 4-3 and improve to 4-1.
Cotter throws fourth for B.C. (1-4), which will play once on Wednesday, a 12:30 p.m. start against Northwest Territories (Gregory Skauge).
