Jim Cotter and Matt Dunstone will compete in separate pools during round-robin action at the Tim Hortons Brier, which will get underway on March 5 in Calgary.
Cotter, from Kamloops, will skip his Vernon-based Team B.C. rink in Pool A, along with Northern Ontario (Brad Jacobs), Alberta (Brendan Bottcher), Wild Card No. 1 (Mike McEwen), Manitoba (Jason Gunnlaugson), Wild Card No. 3 (Glenn Howard), New Brunswick (James Grattan), Northwest Territories (Greg Skauge) and Yukon (Dustin Mikkelsen).
Dunstone, a Kamloops resident who skips a Regina-based team, will represent Saskatchewan in Pool B, along with Ontario (John Epping), Team Canada (Brad Gushue), Wild Card No. 2 (Kevin Koe), Nova Scotia (Scott McDonald), Quebec (Mike Fournier), Newfoundland/Labrador (Greg Smith), Prince Edward Island (Eddie MacKenzie) and Nunavut (Peter Mackey).
The top four teams after pool play will advance to the Championship Pool, from which three playoff teams will emerge, with the No. 1 seed advancing straight to the final and the other two squaring off in semifinal action.
Saskatchewan will open play on Friday, March 5, with a Draw 1 game against Nunavut scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
B.C. will see its first action on Saturday, March 6, its Draw 4 tilt against New Brunswick slated for 5:30 p.m.
