Garand shines for Kamloops Blazers in victory over Prince George Cougars

Dylan Garand stood tall between the pipes for the Kamloops Blazers on Thursday at Sandman Centre, making 43 saves in a 4-1 victory over the Prince George Cougars.

Inaki Baragano, Matthew Seminoff, Reese Belton and Connor Zary had goals for Kamloops.

Connor Bowie tallied for Prince George in support of goaltender Taylor Gauthier, who stopped 27 shots in a losing effort.

B.C. Division standings: Kamloops (9-2), Vancouver (9-3), Prince George (4-6-1-1), Kelowna (3-2-0-0) and Victoria (1-10-1-0).

Kamloops and Victoria will square off on Friday, a 7 p.m. start at Sandman Centre.
