HD Bombers homing in on third consecutive fastball title after Game 1 victory

The HD Bombers are one victory shy of claiming their third consecutive Kamloops Major Men’s Fastball League title.

HD earned an 11-4 victory over Frenchy’s Prowlers in Game 1 of the best-of-three championship series on Thursday at Charles Anderson Stadium.

Game 2 will be played on Tuesday at the same location, with first pitch slated for 7 p.m.

On Thursday, Adam Donnelly was the winning pitcher, giving up four hits in five innings of work.

Cory Warner was 2-for-3 at the plate, with two home runs and three RBI.

Vegas Antoine had three RBI for the Prowlers, who fell to the Bombers in the 2018 and 2017 finals.

Game 3, if necessary, will be played on Thursday at Charles Anderson.
