Kamloops Blazers expand lead atop B.C. Division with shutout win over Prince George Cougars

The Kamloops Blazers blanked the Prince George Cougars 5-0 on Wednesday at Sandman Centre to build on their lead atop the B.C. Division.

Josh Pillar (2), Daylan Kuefler, Inaki Baragano and Caedan Bankier scored for Kamloops in support of goaltender Dylan Garand, who made 16 saves to pick up the shutout victory.

B.C. Division standings: Kamloops (7-1), Vancouver (5-3), Prince George (3-3-1-1), Victoria (1-6-1-0) and Kelowna (1-1-0-0).

Vancouver and Kamloops will square off on Sunday, a 6 p.m. start at Sandman Centre.
