Three Blazers are on NHL Central Scouting’s players-to-watch list, which was released on Tuesday.

Forward Fraser Minten and defenceman Mats Lindgren are B prospects, the rating indicating they are possible second- or third-round choices, while forward Matthew Seminoff is a C prospect, denoting he is a potential fourth-, fifth- or sixth-round selection.

Meanwhile, the Blazers jumped to sixth in the latest Kia CHL Top-10 Rankings, which were released on Wednesday.

Kamloops was an honourable mention last week. The Quebec Ramparts are atop the list.

The Blazers will play host to the Vancouver Giants on Friday, a 7 p.m. start at Sandman Centre.

B.C. Division standings: Kamloops (5-1), Kelowna (2-1), Vancouver (2-1), Prince George (2-3) and Victoria (1-6).

The Blazers last week named their leadership group.

Kamloops product Logan Stankoven and Quinn Schmiemann of Wilcox, Sask, will share the captaincy, with Stankoven wearing the C in home games and Schmiemann captaining the squad on the road.

Alternate captaincies will also be shared, with Caedan Bankier and Josh Pillar wearing As at home and Dylan Kuefler and Matthew Seminoff handling alternate captain duties on the road.
