Kamloops Canoe and Kayak Club results

There were 13 Kamloops Canoe and Kayak Club members competing at the Pacific Cup Sprint Canoe and Kayak Regatta in Maple Ridge on Thanksgiving Weekend. Melanie Bibeau's best result was a third-place finish in the bantam 200-metre K2 race.

Breanne Spencer placed eighth in the same race.

Maria Demishkevich placed second in the bantam K4 200-metre race.

Chase Duff finished seventh in both the bantam K2 200-metre and K4 500-metre competitions.

Vlad Demishkevich earned a second-place finish in the atom mixed K4 200-metre race.

Alex Demishkevich earned three bronze medals in peewee C1 competition, placing third in the 200-. 500- and 2,000-metre races.

Conrad Belliveau earned three silver medals in peewee C1 action, finishing second in the 200-, 500- and 2,000-metre events.

James McCormick finished 11th in the midget K1 2,000-metre.

Jake Huth earned silver in the midget C1 500-metre.

Jake Goddard placed third in the midget C2 200-metre.

Brook Mclean earned three gold medals — in the midget C1 200-metre, C2 200-metre and C2 500-metre races — and a silver medal in the C1 500-metre.

Owen Paetkau won bronze in the midget C2 200-metre, while Mark Paetkau won silver in the K4 500-metre and bronze in the K4 200-metre.
